I’ve been watching the news this week with a mounting sense of dread; if you aren’t feeling it too, you aren’t paying attention. Trump is out there on the White House lawn casually tossing off comments about a "friendly takeover" of Cuba like he’s talking about buying a failing golf course. But let’s be clear; there is nothing friendly about a fuel blockade that has families in Havana cooking over wood fires because the grid is dead.
This is the Hitler playbook, plain and simple. It’s the same "lebensraum" energy, just swapped for Caribbean real estate and disguised as a humanitarian rescue. He spent the last two months choking the life out of the island after we snatched Maduro in Venezuela; now that they’re fucking starving and in the dark, he’s offering to "help" by moving the goddam military in.
But here is the part that should have everyone shitting bricks; Cuba isn't some isolated playground. It is a massive red line for Moscow and Beijing. Putin is already humiliated after losing his foothold in Caracas, and China has been pouring money into Cuban intelligence sites for years. They aren't going to sit back and watch Trump plant a flag 90 miles from Florida just to satisfy his ego.
If he follows through with this "takeover," he isn't just "liberating" an island; he’s kicking a nuclear-armed fuck hornet's nest. We are already bogged down in the Middle East with this unprovoked war in Iran, and now he wants to open a second front in our own backyard? It’s reckless, it’s narcissistic, and it’s dangerous as hell.
And where the fuck is Congress? They’re supposed to be the "checks and balances," yet they’re sitting on their asses with their dicks in their fists while this man treats the Constitution like a suggestion. We’ve seen bipartisan war powers resolutions fail while the executive branch bypasses them to launch "law enforcement" raids that are actually just acts of war. It’s time for them to do their goddamn jobs and reign this man in before his "America First" ego turns into "America Finished."
He thinks he can play "Strongman" without consequences, but the consequence of this specific brand of stupidity is a mushroom cloud. We are royally fucked if this wannabe dictator is allowed to turn a regional crisis into a global funeral pyre just so he can see his name on a new territory.
Trump is playing with Armageddon. He wants it. He's dying, and he's so furious about it that he want to take the world with him. He may succeed.
