Windows Speech Recognition

I was trying a program called Whisper WISPR and it wasn't working so well it only gives you 2000 words a month and the free version and after that it's 120 a year and you can't pay by the month.

So I ditched that and then they found out that Microsoft Windows comes with speech recognition software for free. It's working really well except for one thing. It picks up everything there is no hot key to  turn on and off the microphone. So if somebody in the room starts talking it picks that up and enters it in and so forth. I have to remember the command to put it to sleep and that's kind of a bitch. I also have to remember to tell it to enter punctuation, and so I kind of feel weird saying things like "I really like that, exclamation point."

But I guess I'll get used to that. We can get used to anything right. And at least it doesn't make as many typos as my dead numb fingers do.

Peripheral Neuropathy and carpal tunnel really suck!
